Adoption Fees & Forms
Thank you for being so kind and looking to take one of these wee ones into your heart and home! Take a look at some of our wonderful flock that are available for adoption to “qualified applicants” as well as some successful adoptions Greyhaven has had.

Adoption Fees
Our adoption fees include an appropriate size cage when available and all accessories where indicated:

Medium Sized Parrots: (Conures, Ringnecks, Senegals, Pinonus, Quaker) $300.00 to $600.00 Cage Included |
| Cockatiels / Lovebirds: $40.00 to $60.00 Cage *not* included |
Large Sized / Rarer Parrots: (Greys, Cokatoos, Eclectus, Amazons, Caiques) $600.00 – $1000.00 Cage Included |
| Parrotlets: $75.00 Cage *not* included |
* All prices are in Canadian dollars and cages are only included where noted
All adoption fees go directly back to the sanctuary to help cover operating costs and education programs. If you are interested in adopting one (or more) of our flock, please complete the

Our Adoption Policies
We do not…
- SHIP BIRDSdue to the stress they may suffer from being shipped.
- Unfortunately we cannot adopt birds to the United States. Due to legislation it is extremely difficult to adopt and/or take birds across the border. If you live in the United States and wish to adopt a bird, please contact The Gabriel Foundation that is based in the USA as they may be able to help you find a rescue that is closer to where you live. - OFFER SAME DAY ADOPTIONS - please see our Adoption Form for full details of our adoption process.
- SEPARATE BIRDS WITH MATES - if a bird has a mate, they must be adopted together.
Sponsor a Bird
Do you love birds but can’t have one for a companion? Consider sponsoring one of our many beautiful birds. Your sponsorship fee includes a picture and certificate acknowledging your support. All funds received go directly to Greyhaven for the care of our flock.
Please support our cause by helping a bird. Cost is nominal $5/month. Please see our Available for Adoption section for photos of birds that you can sponsor.
Don’t forget to note on your remittance which bird(s) you would like to sponsor. In return, we will mail you a certificate(s) confirming your sponsorship.
